Finding Record Creation
Each finding is a record linked to the affected object and the policy version that raised it, with the evidence, the severity at the time it was raised and its history. A finding is matched by identity, so renaming a group does not reset it; only a later evaluation resolves it, a reopened finding counts how often it came back, and a new finding is marked New for its first seven days. A number on a dashboard becomes something with a history.
- 01
Pain Point
What's the problem?
A finding that exists only as a dashboard number cannot be assigned, tracked or evidenced later.
- 02
Remedy
How do we attack it?
Record each finding against the object and the policy version that raised it
- 03
Your Value
What do you get out of it?
Turns a count on a dashboard into evidence somebody can act on and audit
