Rejection Handling

Rejection behaviour is configured per step: end the request, return it to earlier steps for revision, or jump to a nominated step. A request that needs more detail can go back to the person who can supply it instead of being cancelled outright. Fewer legitimate requests are lost to a rigid process.

  1. 01

    Pain Point

    What's the problem?

Most approval tools treat a rejection as an ending, when often it should send the request back a stage.

  2. 02

    Remedy

    How do we attack it?

Decide per step whether a rejection ends the request, returns it, or jumps to another step

  3. 03

    Your Value

What do you get out of it?

Lets a rejection mean revise this rather than always start again
