Rejection and Change Requests

Rejection is configured per step: end the request, return it to earlier steps, or jump to a nominated step. An approver who only wants something corrected can request changes instead, with a required comment: the request pauses with the requester, who corrects and resubmits it, and each step chooses whether resubmission returns to it or restarts the approval. Fewer legitimate requests are lost to a rigid process.
